 Dear Hans,
When Tibetans need help, we know that we can count on you. Most
recently you and other ICT members have given us a great start on our $200,000 year-end challenge.
Raising this money is critical to ensure the voices of Tibetans continue
to be heard in capitals around the free world. I’m proud and grateful
that so many ICT members are stepping up, but I’m not surprised you have
brought us closer to that ambitious goal.
After all, you and other ICT Members have repeatedly come through for the people of Tibet. Through your financial support that sustains all of ICT’s work,
your signature on one of our online petitions, or calls to your member
of Congress urging action on pro-Tibet legislation … you give me hope
about Tibet.
More important, you give hope to Tibetans for a better future!
Hope for living free of China’s oppression. Hope that their ancient
culture will survive and be passed forward by generations of Tibetan
children to come. Hope for the return of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
And hope for peace.
All of those hopes depend on ICT being at full strength before next year
begins. That gives us just 15 days to get all the way to our $200,000
year-end challenge.
