One big step forward

It is a good day, in Germany, now the laws are officially granted for equal marriage.
I can absolutely not understand that people (inclusive Mrs Merkel) voted against it. There are no constitutial objectons, nor religious, because we are ALL God's people.

I don't want a president that makes differences between people!

9 years

Today Facebook told me that it is exactly 9 years ago that I joined Facebook.

Wow!  Time flies when you are having fun.   In those 9 years a lot has happened, what I could not foresee, and I was thinking (yeah.... sorry for that!!)  about how the social media, facebook, influenced my life as well.

One of the most important influences at my life, Facebook gave me in playing a game, called Mafia Wars. I met a few people through it, that I not want to loose, even now the game has passed away a time ago.
The other thing is the photography.  Thanks to Facebook I met a group of people, from what some really became good friends, what has a daily effect at my life.

There are a few other 'red lines' in my facebook carreer. One is, of course, Queen.  It hurts so much that I see people who call themselves Queen fans, getting excited from the Queen and AL  gigs. I mean, everyone can sing queen songs, but when a group names itself Queen, and then you hear the singinging as if the lead singer has a kind of bad throat infection... Oh well, enough said, I promised to behave this time in this.

That is a thing that changed as well. I am still having a sharp (written) tongue, and can tell the things that take your breath away (ha!). But I try to do it less.  Not that my opinion changed, but I try to hurt less people. If I want that others respect me, I should be respectful to others as well, right?

There are also shadow sides at facebook. When I see grown up people, who almost whine about things that happen, I wonder what a life they have.  In fact I know. They have what I had a while ago as well.
Get a life, or, get your life back. It is such a waste of time, if you get upset by people that think different then you!
Life is too short for mimimimi, as we say in Germany  :)

9 years of Facebook. I think I can make it until 10.  Yes, I can!  :). Thank everyone who unfriended me, or blocked me :) you made my life much more eaasy!

Facebook drama

When someone deletes me, without any comments, or with no reason, that is a bit strange, but okay, I accept that. Even when the person, a few days before, called me his brother. I asked his wife why it is that way, and she said that it is his matter, not hers.  What is true, of course.

When I delete someone, for no other reason then that we never contact with each other, then that person all the sudden asks why, and I tell it, just like I wrote it here.

Then, she does not really understand why,  just that there is no reason at all, but okay, it seems she accepts it as well.   Until, a few minutes later,  her partner (who is actally the one who deleted me without any comments), shows up and starts a very agressive chat.

I go back to my friend of 91.  Who has burnt his leg, poor grumpy soul.
Burning a candle for who needs it.  Even for that couple.   I like my cleaned up Friends list!

and tadammmmmmm....  now martine pascal weytjens peters blocked me.  :-)

Fake news

I just heard it, in the news messages, that 'they'  are considering to put fake news sooner out of the (social) media.  What a great plan that is!

But, when there are leaders, in countries, that  think that all the ciritical notes on them are fake news, then it gets dangerous.

Who decides what part of the news is fake?

It is already common, that news and even live broadcastings are filtered. Look to the football (pardon, I mean soccer) matches, they have a few delays so that we, the viewer, do not necessarily see when something uncool is happening at the tribunes.

Who decides what we see? Who decides what we should believe and what not?

The only truth that I see is around me. The people in the street. The tram with a delay. A chief who treats his crew like slaves.
Look at the world by yourself. Do not judge too soon about things that you have not seen with your own eyes happening.

And, be careful with spreading 'news', it might be fake.. or not?

Thought for the (sun)day

I was thinking...

And ended up with this.

It is very easy to hate someone, for what he is doning, or what he tells

And it is far more difficult, to love someone, for the good (s)he is doing

Don't choose the easy way to hate. Make effort, and find the good in the other.

(Unless you are 'Agent Orange', aka Trump .  That one you not need to like - at all -  )

They

I know why I look less and less to the news items.  It seems that the press has chosen to encourage the split in the world community between haters and lovers.

The stories that roll on, are not about the good things, but about the bad things.
Such as, about that 1 refugee, that commited a criminal deed.
Big screaming lines, preferably with name and origin from the person.

In the social media many people love the news and love to spread it.  However there are only a few who take the effort to look through what is said or is written.  The easy way is just to spread it. And, if you have courage, you can add your line.  Like... if that is their 'thank you'  to us, then they should stay away.

So, my question is... Who are they?

I believe in justice. Who commits a crime should be punished and the law brings plenty of ways to do so.  Bring the criminals to law and let them get their well deserved penalty.
When some names are mentioned, of the people who commited the crime, they are usually already picked up and behind bars, or in a coffin.

Do you realize how many 'new people'  come into your country, daily?  And do you realize that the number of people who become criminal (or are that already long before) is less then 1 percent?

Who are they, that you want to penalty for the deeds of  others?  Who are you, to discriminate innocent people?

If you want to judge about someone, without being professional educated to judge,  then at least do use the names of the persons that you are taöking about, instead of cowardly naming them they, and with that generalizing and discriminating the good people, who are always in the majority.

Turn the page

When we too long focus on things, we do loose the sight for things that are around.

When we too long bow our head for leaders of other countries, we loose our own identity.
But when we not need to bow our head anymore, we can look at the sky again. We can see the possibilities and challenges.

Like in 'who needs you?' . When you are afraid to loose, you do everything to not loose. But when the other breaks the chains, you all the sudden not need to do anymore what the other tells you. You all the sudden are free to use the gifts that you are given. If you want peace, you all the sudden can make it. And when the other turns into an evil enemy, it can be beaten.  Resist!

There is hope, because an idiot of a big country, chooses for himself and will ruin his own country. Another spade into his own grave. We not need to help him, just wait and then push. Another day closer to the end of the horror.  Don't give up, be proud at yourself, not necessarily at your leaders, who might not be 'YOUR'  leaders anyway. Let yourself be lead by your heart, there is the answer!
