Reaching the top

How often is it that I look forward to reach my goal
How often I have the joy of knowing that I reach something, that I realy do something

And than, at the moment that it is that far..
I am overwhelmed with a kind of emptyness

Yes I reached the mountain top
And now?
There's only way, and that is back down

And that gives that strange feelnig. All the time I was so busy with putting my energy in reaching the next level
That I forgot the rest
And that's why the emptiness comes

Next time I try it again. To have the joy of going to reach my goal
But I shall go step by step
Not forgettting what is now and what's here around me

It's lonely at the top
I need my friends down to earth way moreF
