Give peace a chance

Today it is international peace day.

More then ever this day is needed. More then ever people are participating, as well in the social networks, and in photo groups. My picture for today did make it in the wonderful compilation in the Flowers Photo group..

Of course I am proud, that my picture is among the best, and Ilove to share it as well.
Less proud is what I am for the reason. It should not be needed to put signs for peace. When we all want peace, why are so much fights then?
When we all want peace, why do we refuse to understand eachother

When we all want peace, why are so many people sharing hate messages (most without that they realize what they are doing)
When we all want peace, why don't we start with it right now?  Be friendly to the peope in the street (even when they can not understand you, a smile is the same in all languages).

When we all want peace, let us then start in our own daily circle. Be friendly, hug, smile, try to understand others, instead of being afraid for... yes, for what?

Why should you be scared of other people, who come over to Europe with nothing then the clothes they wear?
When a little child wants something, and his parents say, that it is not possible, the child might react with stamping its foot and refuse to listen to what the parents have for reason.
Instead of listening and trying to understand, the child might cry and scream.
So loud that it can not hear the replies.

Why?
Because it knows, from nature, that, when it gives the other a chance to tell why and how, they have no reason anymore to feel upset.

The only thing that they want at that moment, is to test their power. Children learn that violence (as in loud crying) never brings a solution.
Unfortunately a lot of people forget their childhood lessons.
They prefer to scream, so that they can not hear what the other wants to say
They know that at the moment that they get silent, that there will be reason, peace, if you will name it that way.

Fights, wars, they never bring a winner.  But a friendly gesture is never refused. A friendly face returns friendly faces.
We should try it
