New Zealand Police Letting Facebook "Rape Club" Off The Hook?

action alert!
For two years, New Zealand police have been tracking a group of teens posting about their exploits drugging and raping underage girls. It's high time they were arrested and charged with a crime.

Dear hans,

In Auckland, New Zealand, the police have been tracking a group of three teen boys since 2011 -- collecting their posts on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter where the "rape club" would brag about drugging and assaulting dozens of underage girls. Some of the alleged victims were only 13 years old.

While the police and the media have spoken to many of the victims, they still haven't opened a formal case against the boys involved. This despite the fact that four of the victims have filed formal complaints over the past two years.

After more than two years of observing these boys virtually harass their victims, there should be more than enough evidence available to charge them with a crime.

You can help by putting pressure on the Auckland City Police Department and demanding that they press charges.

Let's tell the Auckland Police not to let these rape club members off the hook!

if you were my friend

If you were my friend
I should have told you, this is the end
I should long have told you where to stick the label
I should have forgotten you, as much that I am able

Never I should have accepted your rudeness or your blame
Your backstabbing, hate talk, I cant believe I should do the same
I should have torn our connection apart
It should be a relieve, like a long waited fart

I should years ago have refused to play your game
I never should have accepted that you call me a name
You should have heard from me what I realy think
Your dirt should have been flushed in the sink

I should have given you a hit that you should never forget
Because your behavior is unacceptable, as well as your threat
You can try, but it will never end
It long was over, if you were my friend

I should have forgotten you, if you were my friend
But you are more, so I cant

Stand with the Philippines

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Dear friends,

The worst storm on record has devastated the people of the Philippines, and scientists say climate change fueled it. Leaders are meeting right now to decide whether to pay billions promised to help vulnerable countries recover from and protect against these climate disasters. Money that could go directly to helping the Philippines rebuild. The Filipino negotiator just went on a hunger strike for action and has started a petition on Avaaz -- let's stand with him:
The horror of what's happened in the Philippines is unimaginable. Ten thousand people wiped away by a 25ft wall of water driven by 300km/h winds. A city of 200,000 people looks like a nuclear bomb hit it. It's the worst storm on record, but it's just the beginning, unless we act.

Right now the world's powers are in a global climate conference talking about whether to hand over billions promised to help the most vulnerable amongst us when climate change disasters hit. Yeb Sano, the Philippines' chief negotiator, just addressed the room, tearfully pledging a hunger strike until a real deal is reached to help his family, fellow citizens and all the other most vulnerable nations who are at the most risk for violent storms like this one.

Yeb is standing alone, facing a room of bureaucrats who are doing almost nothing to help. But if we bring the power of our 29 million strong community in to stand with him, we could change the tide and push the richest polluters to pay up now. Click below to make it happen:

http://www.avaaz.org/en/petition/Stand_with_the_Philippines/?bIiqNab&v=31099

Yeb Sano, the climate negotiator for the Philippines, spent hours trying to reach his brother after the storm. He finally found him, part of a crew moving the bodies of victims so relief workers could begin cleanup. After hearing the news he gave an amazingly brave speech to the world's climate delegates, saying:

"I speak for my delegation. But more than that, I speak for the countless people who will no longer be able to speak for themselves after perishing from the storm. I also speak for those who have been orphaned by this tragedy. I also speak for the people now racing against time to save survivors and alleviate the suffering of the people affected by the disaster. We can take drastic action now to ensure that we prevent a future where super typhoons are a way of life... What my country is going through as a result of this extreme climate event is madness. The climate crisis is madness. We can stop this madness. Right here in Warsaw."

We owe it to the victims of Haiyan, and all future storms like it, to think bigger picture than our leaders are. Climate change killed them. And climate change is what we need to stop. A greater commitment to fund climate change management efforts is a key piece in the global deal we desperately need to save the world. And the richest countries have already pledged millions for this effort! So far, almost none of the money promised has arrived, but this can and must change. And the tragedy of the Philippines right in the middle of the climate conference is our chance to make it happen.

Click below to stand with Yeb and his country and with all those who have been and could be victims of climate change disasters:

http://www.avaaz.org/en/petition/Stand_with_the_Philippines/?bIiqNab&v=31099

Yeb ended his speech by writing a pledge to everyone: “In solidarity with my countrymen who are struggling to find food back home and with my brother who has not had food for the last three days, in all due respect Mr. President, and I mean no disrespect for your kind hospitality, I will now commence a voluntary fasting for the climate. This means I will voluntarily refrain from eating food during this COP until a meaningful outcome is in sight.” Together, our movement can rise to this challenge, and bring hope to him and his family and generations of our most vulnerable world citizens.

With hope and determination,

Ricken and the whole Avaaz team

what a drama

since no one is reading this, I am careful with what i write here...

Sometimes it doesnt matter what you do, all is turning out wrong.  I did inform about an upcoming procedure, and wow, what a load came over me!  As if I had done something dramatically bad.

Hey sorry, boys and girls, if you start something, it might be that another reacts on it, before you get what you need, right!
I was not aware that I could say something to this item. But I could. And I shall.  And even when 'they' dislike it.
Being honest, I have not the illusion that my reaction changes anything. But I still am going to do it.

Should I have said nothnig, and 'surprise'  them with my action?
Instead of telling them that I am going to tell my side of the story, on what they now make such a drama?

Come on.  Grow up. Even you, kiddies.  Ha!

frustrated

So
You say you have had it, it was enough
Why dont you stop then?
So
You dont understand why I do what I do
Why dont you talk then?
So
You blame me for things in the past
Why dont you listen to my side of the story?
So
You dont understand, why I use my right
I thought you had considered this part of your fight?
So
You blame me hat I do not understand
Why dont you explain what I did miss
So
You so much want that name to change
Why cant you accept the procedure?

Don't blame me for things you started up
Because, just like you, I am so fed up
I dont need to hear from you, where I went wrong
I want to go further, bright and strong

Dont make a drama from what is not
Just cool down, this matter is not that hot
Low down your  frustration and hate
Find a solution, it is never too late

Listen to both sides of the stories now
It is the only way, we nanage somehow
I am always here, for you there is an open door
Let's try to understand, I want nothing more

Dus
je zegt dat het genoeg is, je bent het helemaal zat
Waarom stop je dan niet?
Dus
Je begrijpt niet waarom ik doe wat ik doe
Waarom praat je er dan niet over?
Dus
Je verwijt me dingen uit het verleden
Maar wil niet luisteren naar mijn waarom?
Dus

Nestlé is draining the water from their village. And you won't believe what it's doing with it.

Nestlé: Stop draining Pakistan dry!
Goal: 200,000
184,822
Nestlé is draining developing countries’ groundwater to make its Pure Life bottled water, destroying countries’ natural resources before forcing its people to buy their own water back.
Now Nestlé is moving into Pakistan and sucking up the local water supply, rendering entire areas uninhabitable in order to sell mineral-enriched water to the upper class as a status symbol, while the poor watch wells run dry and their children fall ill.

Tell Nestlé to stop stealing Pakistan’s water and making its villages uninhabitable.

Nestlé’s aggressive water grab is already descending like a plague on parts of Pakistan. In the small village of Bhati Dilwan, villagers have watched their water table sink hundreds of feet since Nestlé moved in. Children are getting sick from the foul-smelling sludge they’re forced to choke down. Meanwhile, Nestlé spends millions marketing “Pure Life” to wealthy Americans, Europeans, and Pakistanis who can afford to watch their kids grow up healthy. This scenario is played out again and again in countries around the globe. But this is where we say: enough!
Dirty water kills more children around the world than AIDS, malaria, war, and traffic accidents combined -- and Nestlé has a big hand in it.
At the World Water Forum in 2000, Nestlé led the way in fighting against defining access to water a universal right. Nestlé and other big corporations won out, and government officials around the globe officially downgraded water’s classification to a “need” instead, meaning it could be captured, commoditized, and exploited by major corporations without regard for local populations.

Tell Nestlé: Water is a human right. Stop stealing it from communities around the world.
When the company's Canadian subsidiary pushed to keep draining millions of liters of fresh water from the water table in a time of drought, we joined our friends at the Council of Canadians, Wellington Water Watchers, and Ecojustice challenging Nestlé in court -- and we won! Just this month, after additional pressure from thousands of SumOfUs members, Nestlé decided to drop its appeal -- a huge win for the public.
If we expose Nestlé’s disgusting game plan for Pakistan, the company will scale back its water-draining facilities to avoid a damaging global backlash. But if we ignore what’s happening there, Nestlé and other major corporations will suck up more and more the world’s water -- and that’s not good news for anyone.
Join us in standing up to corporations like Nestlé that suck up essential natural resources.
P.S. Nestlé’s current chairman and former CEO was caught on tape arguing that water is "not a right”, and while the clip is shocking, the reality is even worse.Nestlé’s aggressive policies are depriving thousands of people around the planet of the basic water they need to survive, all to pump up the company’s bottom line. Please join us in taking a stand against corporate seizure of our natural resources today.

Please sign and share this pigeon to stop the absurd practice of doping up pigeons in order to win pigeon races. It is definitely deceitful as well as abusive to the animals by injecting them with drugs for personal gain and money!!
An investigation is underway regarding Belgium pigeon races. It was discovered that several of the birds were doped with cocaine and painkillers; people have heard of athletes consuming these drugs to win at their sports. They believe that these “performance-enhancing” drugs can rake in lots of money when the birds win.
Belgium pigeon breeding and racing has raked in millions and millions of prize dollars, especially with their famed bird named “Bolt,” who was named after a famous Olympian. Bolt was sold to a Chinese gambler for $430,000 in order to partake in the pigeon races. Birds like Bolt and others full of the drugs were held up by Chinese customs because of their value when inflicted with the substances.
The Belgium pigeon-racing federation had samples of more than 20 birds sent in for evaluation, according to media authorities. Some of the testing was done in Belgium, itself while others were performed at the National Horseracing Authority in South Africa. It is no surprise that Belgium claimed the birds were clean and healthy while South African labs found problems. “Cocaine in one, painkillers and anti-fever drugs for another,” the newspapers reported.
The breeders and owners of the pigeons are faced now with theft and racketeerin... more
