Dear hans ,
Boko Haram is one of the most violent, misogynistic and notorious terrorist vigilante groups in the world. They've just kidnapped at 234 and perhaps as many as 267 Nigerian girls for human trafficking as sex slaves and child brides — and their government is doing nothing to help them.
Nigeria's president has wasted time downplaying the crisis and lying about these girls' fates when he should be reaching out for help.
Now these abducted girls are the victims of a conflict they did not create, and face horrors beyond our imagining — unless we demand UN Women, UNICEF and Nigeria's UN ambassador contacts put the pressure on Nigeria and make finding these girls a top priority NOW.
Will you join us in calling on UN Women, UNICEF, and prominent UN ambassadors to pressure the Nigerian government to do more and making rescuing these girls a top priority?
