On fire

So, one of the most important buildings, in History, in the world, did get on fire and is (partially)  destroyed.   Horrible, I shed some tears about it.

There are, of course, worse things happening, and there are less worse things happening.
The worst thing that happened, were the reaction of some people.
First, as expected, the haters (right winged) came up with that it most likely was an attack, or a damage on purpose from one of the workers in the Cathedral.  Disgusting, enough said!

It was great, to see that people started to spend money, for a quck rebuilding.  Bang... another tear.

And, of course, on that came some reactions a welll.  Such as.. the church is rich enough, they not need that money...  And of course the royal millions from people who have a lot of money, will not hurt those people, but... it proves that they do care.  Even if it might be a publicity deed, it still is a lot of money that they donate, and  I think the world can be happy with it, when the Notre Dame is rebuild fast and good.

It is, of course, a bit bitter, when we see the poor people, holding up their hands for one or two Euro, or the refugees, that are not welcome, and then, in this case, a happy spended amount what could have saved many people too..
But, let's be frank and honest.   There should be not a single person more be helped, when this disaster had not taken place.
There should not have been any more people saved.

Let's not take sides in this.  It is not worth it.  It is good, that this money came, so spontaneous.  And if you really care about others, who get nothinig... Well... do something!  Donate, support the workers or whatever.  Only that way you can prove, how important people are.  Life matters!
