The article below tells about Klaasen who did 'dedicate'  his football tricot to the supporter that did hurt himself during the match between Ajax and Barcelona

Well, at least with that the article starts.  Mainly it is about the game itself and that is, in my opinion, where it is about.  No one did notice that the supporter did drop in the 'safety wall'  and did get hurted, the game was exiting and ajax did write history to defeat the world team of Barcelona.

Of course it is sad when a person is involved in an accident, watching a football game and then this, but on the other hand, the question is fair to ask how the man did come into that 'safety wall' hole.  Normally the supporters are supposed to have a seat, and of course, in the excitement you can go a bit forward, standing up and so, and then the safety corridor is there to take care that you cannot drop into the hole right away.

My conclusion is that the 'fan'  did try to climb over the safety fence and that something went wrong.
So, who is to blame?  For me it is the responsibility of that guy that did violate the safety rules.
If you do not know what can happen, this shows why it is there.
Again, it is sad when a person gets hurted this way, but I foresee an upcoming uproar about the safety in the Amsterdam Arena. And in my honest opnion it should be good if the officials look more to how it is possible that a person is even trying to get over the fences, rather then trying to invent more safety measures, what always will be a 'reason'  for some people to step over them.

It is the attitude of certain people, and not the lack of safety.  That should be worth an investment, better then another useless security measure.

Hij had zijn shirtje misschien liever willen ruilen met Xavi. Maar DavyKlaassen twijfelde geen moment toen hij van hoofdsteward Theohoorde dat een fan in de gracht was gevallen. “Ik gaf hem mijn shirtjeen zei: 'Geef maar aan die jongen.'”

Twintig jaar is Klaassen pas, en nog onervaren als het om topwedstrijden gaat. Op hetveld toonde hij zich gisteravond enorm volwassen door in blessuretijd de ene na deandere corner te versieren, samen met Viktor Fischer. Ook buiten het veld toonde demiddenvelder zich dus een sterke persoonlijkheid.

Hoewel de sfeer op Zuid omsloeg na de val van de supporter, hadden de spelers op hetveld niets in de gaten. “Ik hoorde het echt pas na afloop, van hoofdsteward Theo, toenwe langs liepen,” aldus Klaassen. “Dat is echt geen fijn nieuws. Erg zuur. Die jongenkwam ook gewoon om naar het voetbal te kijken.”

'IK HAD NIET VERWACHT DATHET ZO GEMAKKELIJK ZOUGAAN'

Het was voor iedereen een smet opeen historische avond. Ajax liet inde eerste helft het beste voetbal injaren zien. Het jonge Amsterdamsemiddenveld (Blind, Serero enKlaassen) was de baas overwereldtoppers als Xavi en Iniesta.

“Als je hen van alle kanten onder druk zet, weten ze ook niet meer wat ze moetendoen,” concludeerde Klaassen. “Ik had wel gehoopt dat we zouden domineren, maar dathet zo uitpakte, had ik niet verwacht. Ik had niet verwacht dat het zo gemakkelijk zougaan. Nou ja, het was niet gemakkelijk, we moesten er veel voor doen, maar het leekwel gemakkelijk te gaan. De trainer zei al voor de wedstrijd dat we er een historischeavond van moesten maken. Dat is gelukt.”
