Stop the fighting

O dear

It is clear that elections and choices are made, this year. The world is fighting to get attention, the leaders profile their best sides, so loud.
I always think that it is so that we forget to look at the things they did the past years, and 'just'  concentrate at the one good deed they do now, giving them permission to lean back the rest of the years again.

Tell the people what they want to hear, and you are the winner.  Do not tell the consequences, they will see that when it is too late

And when someone tells you bad words, then slap them in the face. Not that such ever gives a solution, sooner or later you need to be on talking terms again, but, the 'people'  want the game, and you give it to them.

Seriously. Can't we just stop those silly (and dangerous) games?  The examples of what will happen are plenty. A fight never gives winners, just look back to all wars and make your conclusions.

Be friendly. And if our leaders give a bad example, don't follow the leaders, but follow your heart. Love is the answer, always!

world piece day

I think of myself as someone who 'fights'  for peace.

For all in the past I was active in the peace organisations, I did join protest events against all kind of violence. And I still hate guns I still think people should not be able to kill other people.

But, since the most powerful weapon lobby (the true rulers of the world) disagrees, and loves to earn more money with killing, there is only a little chance that the voice of me and the many with me, are heard. And when it is heard, it is shut up with all kind of forces.

Still, I won't give up. As long as I have the songs from John Lennon in my head, I will do what I can against the violence from people, not only against each other in war, but as well in child or animal abuse, and you can fill in the rest.

Today it seems to be world piece day.  I have not investigated, but I wonder who was the person who came up with that idea.
I do not understand it!

I do understand that you want attention for peace. I do understand that you are fed up with the violenc, but what is a 'wolrd piece day'  bringing?

This morning when I opened Facebook, and it jumped to me. World Peace Day.  And the radio talked about the bombings from Russian and the Assad Regime in Syria.
What does a world peace day do for the people who are starving in Aleppo?

What does world piece day do for the endles wars in africa?  What does world piece day do for the organisations (and eventually candidates for presidentship)? How many millions are not wanting peace, and promote hate and agression?

Are they impressed with a world piece day?   Just as the symbolic peace breaks in some wars around christmas, I see this not as a help for the people in war, but as a big promotion for people and organisations who are not able to simply make peace.
And then the need to tell me that I should be nice today?   Uhmm... why today?  Because it is tomorrow the national coffee day, then there is no time anymore to promote peace?

Come on, world.  This kind of 'days'  is purely promotion for people who do not take it seriouslly with peace.
Facebook. With the Peace messages when you log in.
And at the same time giving space to organisations who spread hate, agression, who support homophobia, cihld abuse and the countless adverts for war games.

Does it make sense? Do we need to follow those leaders, do we really need to get the 'us'  feeling while they are telling us so, today?

I do not trust such messages.

I stuck with the true messengers of peace. Such as the adorable Dalai Lama, who is one of the living examples of peace.  Not only in his words, but in his life. He lives peace and he shows us how peace can be.
I try it, in my own litle world. Be nice to others. And I fail daily. As long as I fail, daily, the peace in my world needs attention, 365 days in a year, 24 hous, 7 daaysj.

maybe.. you say that I am a dreamer
but I am not the only one!

How to make people feel secure.

How to make people feel secure.

1. Build a wall around your country.  Check everythng what and who is coming in. Try to convince other countries that they should give you all information about behavior, political backgrounds and social state of their citizens, before they come to you.

2. Eliminate certain groups of people, for their gender, colour, religion or their skills.
Tell them that they are not welcome and should return home. Even when they are already generations long citizens in your country, whose parents and grandparents did build up the country.

3. Let  the people believe that the government) will take care for the security.
Take unpleasant measures, allow no one privacy anymore, with as arguement that 'our country'  will be safer then. Unpleasant measures for a good prupose. Let people believe that this works, and meanwhile work on your own political ideas to come true (who cares about people, you care about power)

4. Control the social media.
Let people write that the government is not good. Let people openly battle with eachother about yes or no for free weapons. Take care that the agression is held at a high level. Make the circumstances so that people keep on feeling insecure about their safety.  When people come with peaceful solutions, back them off, give them as answer that they do not understand what is really happening.

5. Tell the people that they have the right to defend theirselves. Point at the constiturion in what is is mentioned as one of the basical rights.  Do not point them at the other commandments, such as that the country is free for every one to live in, no racism is allowed and that the law is to be followed by all citicens.

6.Let politicans do their job. Allow them to do anything but restricting the production of weapons. Sell the weapons to every person that want one. To protect themselves. Don't tell them that allowing them to have a weapon, that that makes them potential killers.  You can kill much more easy when you have the weapons for it .When a governments member protest, threathen them with cutting off the money that made them live in luxury

7.Sell the weapons to everybody who wants to have it. For this exception you not use 'the wall' around your country. You sell them to everyone who wants to protect himself and, when they have the weapons, with what they will kill  their opponents (who you can provide the weapons as well, for their own safety)

8. Give peace no chance.
Allow the people to protest against the violence. Let the politicians promise more security. Take care that they promote the use of weapons, but don't mention that words. Point at the commandments and let the people believe the propaganda.

9. Use the press smartly.
Show 'the tv watchers'  what you want them to see. Show them how 'black people'  are killed by police weapons.  Forget to tell about the white people that shoot down schools. And if you have to tell such, tell then that it was a religion-delict. Normal people don't do that, label the ones who do it, be creative

10.  Let the people choose a government.
Give the people the idea that they can make things better. Let them choose between a  person who is full of corruptnes and a person who is full of populism and racism.
Make the people believe that the new president will change the home country. Finally, it is about time.
Make sure that the promises are so that they are forgotten in a few years again, so that the same promises can be made again by different persons.

Meanwhile sell your weapons. Money is at least where it is about. Humans are laughable, not profitable and only a mean to get to the targets.

....
Well... NOT WITH ME!
I will fight, as long as I can, and NEVER agree with any form of violence.  I believe in love, and peace. Give it a chance! Transform the weapon industry. Let them sell roses instead!

A serious attack

Yesterday, Tuesday 23rd March, we were shocked again with a very bloody suicide bombing, this time the location was Brussels

They come closer.

It is a scary thing, of course, that we have to learn to live with the fact that there are idiots (I find no better word for it) who think that it brings somethng to kill themselves and many more others.
Of course the tactic from the terror organisations is to destabilize countries with it. There are no ways to stop a suicide bomber properly, even in the most strict dictature. Look to Tibet, where the chinese agressor even after 57 years is not able to stop the suiciders.  Okay, we can not compare it fully, the suicides in Tibet are personal, no one else is involved, and are a peaceful protest against china.

But the idea is the same. The authoroties want, with all costs, to stop those suicide actions.
Bringing it back to the rest of the world again, we see that our local governments are failing in their main task, to give us a safe home, where we can live in a relative safety.

Now I wonder, for a longer time, how to handle, what to do, to get my life as less influenced by these contineous threads.
The reaction of the autorothies is understandable. They send more police and army in the street.  That however is not giving me a safer feeling. On the contrary, I feel scared when I see the heavy weapons and the dominating uniforms. I get scared, because those people are trained to kill other people.
I am less scared from the suicide bomber, that is pulling his luggage bagage with the deadly bombs in it.  Because I do not see it, I feel not confrontated. Until the moment that the bombs explode and do their work...

Many people point to the governments, that they did do wrong, that they are doing too less to give us a safe feeling.
They could do more, true, but I think that it is not fair to blame them for all.
What happens when you put the anger to the government, for example, to weak the ruling parties with a (protest)vote for a party that only is living from hate and agression?
Government, you should promis less. Don't make similar mistakes as Mr Bush, who did promise to eliminate terror, after the crashes of the planes in NewYork.  Well, with all the millions invested, the world did get only less safe.

What do we do in our own street?  Not so long ago I saw a women with a Burka, eyes only. Of course that is remarkable, it is not that common in our streets, but okay, nothing was happening until a couple passed by, of what the woman said, very loud, how aweful the Burka was, and that those people should be locked in jail.
The woman with the Burka replied in perfect german, this as note aside, and there were a few people that said things, the peaceful street became less peaceful.  The woman with the comments had cowardly walked away, and was not there anymore to explain her behavior.

This way a peaceful walk in the city was close for escalating. It is a small example of how it works.  If that woman had not commented about the Burka, no one should have felt offended, and all should be fine and wonderful.
Why did that woman make her comments?  Is she scared for the unknown? Maybe she has right (the fully covered face is very extreme and provocating in our western world, people who wear that should be aware of it). Did she want that woman back to her country? (most likely it was a German woman, considering her language).
We will never know unless we can find that woman again to ask her to explain her behavior.'

This in mind, with all the other things that happen, I think that I still like my own 'theory'

Love is the answer.

Who is scared for the unknown has always the choice to learn about the unknown. Why are people dressed like that, what do people mean?  A different language is not a reason that we can not communicate with eachother.  I see that when I talk with refugees. We are able to communicate with our hands, with our mobile phones, it works! and leads to nice chats.

Let's mind our own business, instead of pointing to others (people, governments, religious leaders), that are out of our reach.
Smile to your neighbour, hug your partner a tiime extra.  Be good to others, and when you disagree with eachother, try to respect that the other has another opinion.

If we can not change the big world, we can always try to make our own world worth to live in.

Give peace a chance, in your heart. Love is all around and it is up to us to pick it up or to throw it away.  No one but you is responsible for what you do in your own world.
What is your choice?
