Marriage Equality

The Americans all the sudden seem very proud about what did happen.  Court did decide that equal marriage is legal and seems to wipe away all the different laws in the various staes of the USA

Everywhere at the social media you see people cheering and feeling 'proud'  at the court decision, well, of course it is a good sign, that there is from now on no difference anymore in marriage between two people that love eachother, that is a huge step forward and (finally) a slap into the face of the conservative religious lobby.

I like to cheer for America, but I should not be me if I do not raise my finger right away. This is not the end, this is just the beginnen.  As long as law is talking about diffences, or allowing various group of people to marry, that is still a strange line in the law. As if you have humans and gays, who now have the same rights.  Isn't that weird? And isn' t that easy to skip that part, or to make exceptions for other gourp of people still?

My law should be that there should be no law. Marriage for everyone should be normal and not a written rule.

As long as it is written in the law it is not a natural thing and not accepted.  There is a long way to go, but a giant step forward is made indeed.

Slovakia puts gay marriage ban in constitution

The leading leftist pary just drafted and passed an amendment defining marriage as solely between a man and a woman.
Sign the Petition!

Dear hans,
Slovakia has decided to buck the EU trend and deny equal rights to same-sex couples, amending its constitution to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman.
It's scandalous enough that Slovakia has joined fellow EU state Croatia in denying LGBT couples the right to marry. What's more shocking is that the law was drafted and (partly) passed by the leftist Smer-Social Democraty party!

We're not asking Slovakia to infringe on the rights of any churchgoer. We're just calling for every citizen to have the same right to happiness as any other.

Join us as we say: SHAME ON YOU, SLOVAKIA!
