Lockdown day 62, I think

And again a few words from me, how to cope the lockdown.

It was a good day.
I helped my friend with moving to her new home.
She had not lived very long in the home that she leaves now, and, coincidentically, a bit more then a year ago, I helped another friend, to move from this same home to her new place.

Further there is not so many to compare, it is anyway worth to mention, I never helped with a move from the same house, in a bit more then a year :)

So, a lot was done, as always, by a move. Other then a bit less contact, for what is possible, when you move heavy pieces and things. It is impossible to keep the distance, but it is always possible to prevent yourself as good as possible.
I sometimes miss the spontaneous way, that we could move ourselves and meet each other. Not many people, but now and then it should be nice if you need to think less and being more spontaneous.  But it are mini-complaints, it can be much worse!

The move is not finished, yet, but we are good on the way to get it all sorted. I do hope that we not need to move my friend again, in another year.  And now it is time for my well deserved coffee.  Unmasked, :-)

The photo is from past Sunday.
Today is the 2nd day in a row that I not made any photo at all.

Lockdown day 60

Another Sunday in lockdown, this time it did NOT snow, but we had a beauriful frosty day.

I was not sure where to go to (the blues from yesterday were not fully gone), and we first had a delicious breakfast, complete with apple-pasties.
Then I went to the rhine. I was expecting that there were many people, but, at 'our side', it was pretty calm. A lot of wetland, but a lot of frozen land, too, so I did not get my feet wet, neither anything else :) .

At the end of the walk, I had to leave the Rhine and got to get back to the civilsation.  Now there were the roads that were slippery.  It was ice, ice, baby, and I felt very insecure at that small piece that I needed to go. Most of all I was scared about my camera. But, we both survived, not too many troubles, and a lot of drama in the head.  That man, with his good advice, be careful, dropped down before me before I could wish him a safe walk as well, and he most lkely was half my age.

I had my fresh air, it was really a good day again.  The photo I made before I took the tram to the  Rhine, I had to wait about 15 minutes, so what is the best to do then?  Exactly :)

Have a good day. Be happy with what you have. Take risks. Fall, stand up again. Don't show your bruises. Smie, because it could have been worse.  Tomorrow another day in lockdown. What will it bring?  We shall see :)

Lockdow Blog day 59

And anonter one in the row. What day it is?  Saturday! What does that mean?  Today it was not a market day,  it was an essental shopping day and that was all what got me out of the house.

I feel tired, slept long and still feel tired. Help!

I had my fun with baking pasties, will do some for dinner as well.  Reminds me of good old Jon, I wonder how he should have  coped the drama of the virus (and the closed pubs).
I think my day can be called melancholy bues.
I am sure it will be on a more happy note next time.  Still, it was not a bad day.

It is almost 16.30, and the sun is still shining. Life is not too bad, when I skip the worries away :)

The photo... because it was so beautiful... from past Thursday again

Lockdown Blog day 57

So, 3 more weeks in lockdown.  And the schools can open, when they want.  And the hairdressers too.
It makes me toughtful.

How comes, that many hairdresser started with 'booking'  their customers a few weeks ago, for March, and now .. it's a miracle... they open just in time?

Understand me correctly, I do wish all in business, that we can come back to normal soon, but  there are many questions, I doubt if we ever will get an answer on them. Why do  sporters have allt the time a perfecth haircut, while the hairdressers are not allowed to work?

Questions after questions.
And it wass a wonderful, sunny day again. I made a longer walk, and even met a 'Mohne', it is carnival, after all. So the loud yell 'Helau!!'  in the park, was a celebration in my heart :)

Stay healthy. Hang on, don't give up. Make it the best for yourself, do what you have to do :)

Lockdown Blog, day 56

And  counting

It is not official, yet, but most likely we get another month on the lockdown, with a few little changes, as  for hairdresser.
Well, that will not change my coffee crisis. Tomorrow I will explore a new coffee market, to guarantee a proper ful-fill-nes of my days :)

That looks like the most exciting news of today.  It is very cold, and I spent a bit more time in the house :)   Of course I made a little walk, and it really is less busy in the street. Of course, at the market, the two Corona Deniers were there, drinking their coffee no go. And of course, I did not 'see them' .

It feels good, now and then, to take some actions, cleaning up. And, because I do not do it often, it has results.
This afternoon I have had a  few hours at the telephone as well, unexpected, but I like Plan B, always :)

Talking about B.. The B from Bridge.  'my' Bridge.  The photo of otday, in a brrchilly, short walk

Lockdown 2.1 Day 55

A wonderful frosty day it was, today.  The afetrnoon is spent with things in the household, and the morning I did go for shopping in the big city.  It was pretty full in the supermarket, but I did not need long to get my cheese.  Outside, in the sun, I decided to take a walk to, and in, the park that I love so much (Schwanenspiegel).  I was not disappointed. Snow/Ice gives the world another view and it is great to have some extra, easy spots where I can place the lensball, for some photos.

I love the view of the people, what is that man doing there, witht thtat bag of 'Die Toten Hosen' and then such a tiny glass thing.
No one did dare to ask today.  Social distance in perfection :-)
Ah yes, tomorrow the new decissions. The lockdown will continue, but the schools might open soon. They have to hurry, else the school holidays have already started. Reminds me a bit as short before christmas, but then different :)

We are on the long run, and it is good that we are careful, now there are new variations of the virus. And now the vaccinations with different sorts is coming up, we will find out what the consequences from a vaccination are.
And the winter will last a few more days.  What is nicer, then having to stay home, at those cold days?  :)

The photo is an impression of today, enjoy, and we speak soon again.

Lockdown 2.1 day 54

More lockdown, more snow, it looks like it is really winter outside.

Is that the message that nature gives us?  Stay home, if it not from free will, then we make it so cold that you not want to be at the stsreet?

Another day in Lockdown, and as always  I shake my head about people.
People that are disappointed, that their gatherings in March are cancelled,, people that are unhappy and unwilling to skip carneval this year.  People that are angry, because there is no chance at huge open air skate marathons...
What is wrong with you, people?
Hey hello, this is not the superbowl, the first superspreader under Joe Biden...
This is something, that affects us all. And what is the use of a young girl, proclaiming a poem, about the victims of Covid, whilst in the meantime the supporters have no respect for eachothers (and not for the virus).

Come on, people.

No, I am not sad, not angry. I can not understand the ignorance from people. And I don't want to. I simply don't want to understand people, that risk the lives of others, for their own fun.
So, I keep warm, and am just happy with the heat, a warm cup of coffee.

Todays' photo is taken in the fridge outside. Minus 6 degrees (C) in daytime, that is long ago we had that, and we keep it a few days.

Stay warm. Stay safe, Stay happy!  I give you something to do, don't I?
